The financial advice as to the suitablilty of Equity Release schemes will be provided by the financial services department of Harrison Townend & Ormeshers Solcitors. The department was set up in 1992 to provide independent financial advice to our clients and those of a number of other solicitors practices throughout the Tameside and Greater Manchester area. As we are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority clients of our practice have an extra layer of protection when they are advised by the Solicitors practice.

We find that most of our equity release clients prefer to deal with a well established local firm for the initial financial advice and the legal work associated with the equity release. As we are cobined Solcitors and Fianancial Advisers we believe we are in an excellent position to advise clients on all the aspects of Equity Release and in many cases we advise them to take an alternative more advantagious course of action if appropraite.
